When you stop and listen, you might find out a few things about yourself. Good things, bad things, things you really don’t want to know, things you are afraid of. And then you lose your voice because you don’t want to talk about your insides and let them show. Finding your voice can be hard. I took a two year hiatus from this blog because I got busy. Or did I just lose my voice for a while? It is so easy to be busy and find things to do rather than sit still and listen to your insides.
I teach yoga classes almost everyday. In some classes I just teach asana, pranayama and then call it a day. But sometimes my guts hang out, it’s a little unnerving, a little frightening, a lot risky, but… that’s where you grow. Otherwise we sit around all stuck up inside. I had some students ask me why I blog. I do it to take a risk, listen to my insides, grow a little. So how do you find your voice? Ask Honesty to pull up a chair and stare you straight in the eye, then start writing.

Just wanted to let you know, this technophobe got a lot out of our blog discussion it went much deeper than learning about blogging. I now understand. I already miss our wednesday night Kundalini chats. So sad.
